The Questions (aka. a bunch of Christmas questions I found on the internet)

What is your favorite Christmas dessert?

Not pie. 😂 Really though I don’t like pie. My favorite dessert is definitely Christmas cookies and gingerbread!

Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

Yes, my family generally opens 2 presents on Christmas eve. One with new Christmas pajamas and another with a board game to play on Christmas Eve.

How do you decorate your house for Christmas?

We decorate the outside with lights and the trees in our front yard. Inside we have garland on the banister, Christmas tree, and other scattered decorations around the house. I also decorate my room which I’ll be showing you in a later post. 😉

Have you ever built a snowman?

I love building snowmen. I used to live in Illinois so it snowed a lot and every year. I would make a snowman and then my brother would proceed to “murder” my snowman but kicking it. *gotta love them little brothers.. 😂 Now that I live in the South there isn’t much snow so no more snowmen. 😦

Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

Ours is fake. A few years back we tried a real tree and it was no.. just no. I have super bad allergies so the Christmas tree kinda tried to kill me and then my dad couldn’t get the tree to stand so occasionally it would almost fall over.

What do you like to do on Christmas break?

I love to hang out with my best friend who lives next door since we don’t get to see each other much do to school. Last year everything iced over which was fun so we went ice skating on the lake and sledded which I hope happens again this year.

What is your favorite Christmas movie?

Elf. Don’t tell me it’s overrated or whatever. That is my favorite Christmas movie and no one can change that. My second would be Christmas vacation which is SO funny. I watch it ever Christmas Eve with my parents.

Where do you normally spend Christmas?
I normally spend it at home with my family in the morning and then in the afternoon we go to my grandparents house and do Christmas.

What is your favorite Christmas song?

I don’t really have a favorite. I like Joy to the World.

Be honest: Do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts?

I LOVE giving gifts. I like finding the perfect gift for my friends and wrapping it up and giving it to them. It’s my favorite part of Christmas aside from Jesus which is what the whole holiday is about.

Those are all of the questions! Now I tag all of my wonderful followers go and do some Christmas tagging! 😉

25 Things Every Girl Wants for Christmas

10 Things Every Girl Wants for Christmas.png

Christmas is HERE!!

I’m so excited Christmas is my favorite holiday of all time from the parades, movies, gifts, and the birth of Jesus (pretty important). I just love it all but this year I’ve had a dilemma everyone keeps asking me what I want for Christmas… and I had no IDEA whatsoever. So last night at 12:30. I decided to really brainstorm and come up with some things I wanted for Christmas and hopefully if you were having the “what do you want?” dilemma this will help you too!

1. Fuzzy Socks

Nothing is better on a chilly day then putting on a pair of fuzzy socks and they come in so many different colors and prints.

2. A Bedroom Mirror

AHH!! I’ve been wanting one of these for SO long and I’m lowkey hoping someone gets me one. 😉

3. Bean Bag or Fuzzy Chair

I love all things fuzzy so I really want one of those cute fuzzy chairs or a beanbag to chill and read on.

4. Throw Pillows

I’m in desperate need of new throw pillows for my room. I really want one of those fun sequin ones or a narwhal pillow. 😀

5. Cute Pictures for my Room

Anyone want to volunteer to paint me some sweet pictures for my room.

6. Make-Up

Nothings better than new cute makeup cause you gotta look good.

7. Gym Bag

This is just me but I’ve been working out constantly recently and I would love a cute gym bag to pack my stuff in.

8. Kendra Scott Necklace

kendra scott.jpeg

I know every girl on the face of the planet wants one of these but there so pretty.

9. Scrunchies

Aka. my new obsession

10. Gift Cards

These are the best for those relatives might not just know what you need. Jk jk! Gift cards are great though because it’s a guarantee you’ll get just what you want.

Here’s a few of my favorite places for gift cards

  • Chick-Fil-A
  • Sephora
  • Hobby Lobby
  • Forever 21
  • Target
  • Walmart
  • Starbucks
  • Half Price Books

11.  Curling Iron

Gotta get those curls.

12. Earrings

I love earrings especially hoops!

13. Notebooks

AHH! Notebooks are the best thing ever and they always come in such cute prints

14. Sharpies or Pens

You need these if you ask for a notebook. 😉

15. Phone Charger

There are super cute charges out there that aren’t just the boring Apple/Android ones.

16. Bath bombs

They smell good, look cute, and are fizzy, need I say more.

17. Apple Watch

This is my big item because it’s so cool.

18. A Photo Printer

This printer hooks up to your phone so you can print any picture from your phone.. it’s like a polaroid minus the camera.

19. Sweat Pants

Sweat pants are such an amazing invention there comfy pants that are socially acceptable to wear in public. What’s better than that?

20. BOOKS!

This is probably a given but a super fun idea is to a book swap with all your friends and each give each other a book you really liked. It’s fun to see other peoples taste in books and then you can fangirl with each other after you finish the books.

21. Succulents or Cute Plants

This was my plant Benjamin. He’s sadly passed away but he as a good lil plantie. 😦

I love succulents!! I’m the proud plant mom of 4 beautiful planties. I have Arthur, Carl, Jorge, and Allen. I would totally ask for these because they are fairly simple to keep alive and they look super aesthetic!

22. A New Pet

I understand this one probably won’t happen for most of us but it never hurts to ask.

I also wanted to take this time to share that if you do plan on getting a pet this holiday season. Please adopt from the shelter instead of a breeder. There are so many adorable loving shelter pets out there just waiting for someone. I volunteered over summer break at the animal shelter and I saw so many sweet dogs and cats who needed a home. This little on here is from the shelter. I named him Goldie. He was the sweetest dog, he would walk right up to you and sit in your lap and cuddle. Just a little announcement for anyone who wants a pet. *Adopt Don’t Shop*

23. Stickers

Screen Shot 2018-11-27 at 1.46.35 PM.png

If you are a sticker lover like me you put stickers on anything water bottles, journals, binders, laptop cases, anything that you could stick something on. If you fit that category go to . They have the best stickers and they are all pretty reasonably priced. If you buy 5 you get 25% off and if you buy 10 you get 50% off which means you could get 10 stickers for around $15 or $20.

24. Magazine Subscriptions

Have a friend who loves a certain magazine then buy them a magazine subscription.. its the gift that keeps on giving. <- anybody get the reference

25. Something homemade

Can you make amazing knitted things or are an expert baker. Make your friends or family something super cute.

I hope you enjoyed this post and it helped you figure out what you need for christmas! I have a pretty crazy idea I wanted to share with you guys and tell me what you think. I was planning on posting everyday for the ENTIRE month of December all the posts would be relatively Christmas themed. I thought it would be super fun!

What do you think of my crazy idea?

What do you want for Christmas?

Have a splendid day loves,

Rose ❤

10 Ways To Show Kindness This Thanksgiving — Lula Boo

Happy National French Toast Day! Thanksgiving is such a fun holiday. We get to be around our family and friends, eat delicious food, and are just generally reminded of how much we have to be thankful for! I love Thanksgiving, and I think we should also show our thankfulness by doing kind things for the […]

via 10 Ways To Show Kindness This Thanksgiving — Lula Boo

Thanksgiving is right around the corner so it’s time to get thankful and help out all the wonderful people in your life. Today I’m going to be sharing with you 5 kindness spreading ideas. I’ve also linked back to Lula Boo’s post about spreading kindness this thanksgiving as well.

1. Bake a homemade treat and leave it in the mailbox for your postman.

2. Write a cute note on the sidewalk with chalk for anyone who walks by!

3. Make cute little notes and leave them around public places like grocery stores, libraries, etc.

4. Play with a sibling.

I know this one may seem really simple but as a sister. I don’t play with my brother as often as I would like too and whenever I play with him we always have lots of fun. Try and make the time to hang out with a sibling.

5. Do something special for a parent.

Whether it be doing a chore, cleaning the whole house, or making dinner. Do something above and beyond to help them.

Now I encourage you to share this post and add 5 of your own kindness spreading ideas. Let’s see how much kindness we can spread this holiday season!!

Happy *early* Thanksgiving!

Rose ❤
