I know.. I’ve been a pretty bad blogger these last few months but now I feel ready to tackle my blog once again and start consistently blogging. I really want to do this and I really want to grow my blog beyond the 22 followers. I’m not saying having 22 followers is bad. I just really want to grow and have lots more followers because there are so many AWESOME people in the world who I want to know and share my content with. Anyway enough about that let’s get onto the photography!
We went to a little town near my home for dinner and afterwards. I got to take some lovely pictures!
This candy store was so sweet and let me take pictures inside.
Tip – Always ask permission before taking photos of anything in stores!
This is one of my favorite pictures.
More bokeh! 😉
2. Still Life
I’m currently taking a photography class at my homeschool co-op and the other week we worked on still-life it was SO much fun. 😀
I feel like this looks very professional.
That’s all the pictures for today. I took some at the botanical gardens and I’ll probably share those later.
Which picture was your favorite? What posts would you like to see in the future?
I honestly have no idea. I haven’t really travelled for the holidays in a long time. A year or so ago I visited my grandma and grandpa in Illinois for Easter.

I’ve always been single.
26 Have you ever been cheated on?

Me and a few of my friends were all hanging out with another group and we all got really close and now we’re all best friends. We hang out constantly, text each other all the time, and it’s so amazing because before that I didn’t really have that many friends to talk to but now I have 7 amazing friends that will help me in whatever I’m going through and it makes me so happy!! 😀

Your Beliefs and Opinions
45 Do you believe in God?
Yes! I’m a Christian. I believe that the Lord sent his only son to die for our sins and whoever believes in Him and follows him and obeys him will live forever in heaven.
46 Do you believe in yourself?
47 Do you believe in Santa Claus?
This isn’t even a question. Santa is real have any of you seen Elf..
48 Do you believe in ghosts?
49 Do you believe in aliens?
I mean maybe there’s something out there.
50 Do you believe in miracles?
51 Do you believe in the power of positive thinking?
52 Do you believe in love at first sight?
53 Can money make you happy?
I believe money can make you happy but true joy comes through the Lord.
54 Would you describe yourself as a feminist?
55 Are you pro-life or pro-choice?
Pro-Life. I believe that whatever happens that you become pregnant you need to have that baby. Most abortions happen when the baby has a heartbeat and is growing at that point it is a human being. It would be like if you had an actual born baby and you didn’t want it would you just go and call it. Abortion is essentially murder. There are a lot of options for adoption. You can foster until you feel ready to take care of a child. My cousin got pregnant at 17 and she was not prepared at all to have a baby but she gave birth and now she has a beautiful 1 yr old baby boy who is her pride and joy.
56 Do you have strong political beliefs?
Yes but I don’t want to share them.
57 Do you have strong religious beliefs?
58 What do you think the most important thing you can give a child is?
Support, love, and fun. You have to have fun with your child in my opinion. They need to be cared for and you need to have fun with them and play with them.
59 Are you eating anything right now?
60 Are you drinking anything right now?
61 What are you listening to right now?
62 What are you thinking about right now?
This blog post.
63 What are you waiting for right now?
I’m about to go to softball practice. So I’m waiting to leave for that.
64 What are you most excited about right now?
I’m going to a pool party later and I’m super excited that fall is on its way! 😀
65 What’s your pet peeve right now?
People not having the courtesy towards others. All the time I see people cut in line at grocery stores or nearly run into people with carts or cut someone off on the freeway just to get there faster. People need to understand that life is not a race and we all need to slow down and take into consideration others.
66 What’s your favorite thing right now?
I don’t know probably my redecorated room. I just re-arranged and decorated and I’m really happy with the way it turned out. Oh and I started watching 24 and I’m hooked.

*I’ve never done a recap/goal post before so the format is going to be in categories like books, blogging, life, etc. with the goals for September at the end. 😀
Tiger Lily – 5 stars: This book was absolutely amazing and is now one of my favorites. I totally recommend you read it. (book review)
Coraline – 3 stars: I’ve been wanting to read Coraline forever and it really didn’t live up to the standard I think everyone put it at. Still a decent book.
From Bad to Cursed – 4 stars: This is the 2nd book in the Bad Girls Don’t Die trilogy. It’s a great series it’s super plot twisty and paranormal.
Overturned – DNF: I read the first couple chapters of this book and really couldn’t get into it.
I feel like i totally failed my reading this August. I definitely want to read more this August.
Favorite Book of August
The winner is Tiger Lily. I loved it so, so, so much. I cried and books don’t make me cry to often. Check out my review of it here or my goodreads review here!
This month of blogging was my first official month and I had such a blast!

Before Peter Pan belonged to Wendy, he belonged to the girl with the crow feather in her hair…
Fifteen-year-old Tiger Lily doesn’t believe in love stories or happy endings. Then she meets the alluring teenage Peter Pan in the forbidden woods of Neverland and immediately falls under his spell.
Peter is unlike anyone she’s ever known. Impetuous and brave, he both scares and enthralls her. As the leader of the Lost Boys, the most fearsome of Neverland’s inhabitants, Peter is an unthinkable match for Tiger Lily. Soon, she is risking everything—her family, her future—to be with him. When she is faced with marriage to a terrible man in her own tribe, she must choose between the life she’s always known and running away to an uncertain future with Peter.
With enemies threatening to tear them apart, the lovers seem doomed. But it’s the arrival of Wendy Darling, an English girl who’s everything Tiger Lily is not, that leads Tiger Lily to discover that the most dangerous enemies can live inside even the most loyal and loving heart.
Name: Tiger Lily
Author: Jodi Lynn Anderson
The whole book was just amazing! I felt so much emotion through the writing. I laughed and I most certainly cried. The last pages of that library book have my tears on them now. The storyline was very well written a lot of fairytale spin-offs feel dull and common but this one was so unique. I’ve read a lot of Peter Pan spin-off/re-tellings but this one was so different and beautiful. I loved the characters on how each were represented so perfectly you have Peter who is crazy but always wants to make sure Tiger Lily sees that him and the Lost Boys aren’t really that wild. You have Tiger Lily stubborn and graceful. And then I loved TINKERBELL! I’m already a huge Tinkerbell nerd but the way they portrayed her in this story was unlike anything I had ever seen she still had that spunk but had such an interesting way of looking at things. I loved it. Overall this is now one of my favorite books of all time. I recommend you read it 1000 percent. It’s the sweetest story ever!
Have a wonderful day!
Until next time,
P.S: We have 17 followers thank you so much for all your support! 🙂
I cannot believe it the summer is almost over. *crying* I’ve had such an amazing summer but now I have to go back to school back to biology, government, spanish, icky math, and all that other stuff. I’ve been in school for a long time though and I’ve gathered the 5 most essential tips for going back to school. These will help you SURVIVE your first day back to school and help you get through the whole school year.
1. Get Organized
One of the best things you can do before school starts is get organized. If you do your homework at your desk, clean it off and get it tidy. If your backpack is still filled from last year clean it out! Trust me I know cleaning isn’t very fun sometimes but getting everything ready for the school year is SO worth it! Also buy a planner! Especially if your going into highschool or are in highschool.
2. Start the Day Off with Positivity
I know this sounds super cheesy but if you start off your day with a right attitude it will go so much better. When your in a bad mood you tend to focus on the negative stuff which stresses you out, you become unfocused which means you won’t do as well on tests and you won’t retain the information as well.
I know so many people who skip breakfast and it’s horrible for you. You’ll be super tired, your brain won’t function as well, and you’ll be hungry. I get you might not be starving when you get up but just something small a smoothie, granola bar, or yogurt is just enough. Breakfast is extremely important because once you’ve eaten the energy from what you just ate will help you wake up and it will help your brain function better so you can ace all those early morning tests and not fall asleep during class. 😉
– Rose’s Best Breakfast
Protein bars are delicious and there healthy!
Smoothies are super easy to make and there are so many different combinations. You can also pre-make them the night before and just wake up grab your smoothie and GO!
Yogurt parfaits want something a little fancy! Put some yogurt in a cup with some granola or crushed up granola bar add some fruit and ta-da. You’ve got yourself a delicious breakfast!
POPTARTS!!! There not healthy but they are one of the most delicious breakfasts out there. *don’t even tell me that they’re a dessert… I consider them breakfast*
4. Meet New People
Nothing is better than making more friends right.. except maybe the fact that to meet you new people you have to ….. socialize and talk to them. This may sound scary but trust me it’s not even a simple compliment like “I love your shirt.” or “Wow you always look so great.” Can easily make someones day and it could end up being a friendship. Also just casually mentioning whether or not that person is in a class you have or asking them whether or not they thought the homework was hard. One little sentence can end up being something A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! ❤
5. Keep Those Grades Up!
I mean the whole reason we go to school is to learn right. Make sure you do everything you can to keep those grades up and keep on learning. Never ever be embarrassed to ask for help from a teacher or classmate and even sometimes you might need a tutor. There is never anything wrong with needing a little bit of help!
Wow that was a lot! Now who’s ready to make this school year the greatest!
Keep up all that good work guys! 😉
What are your back to school tips? Which tip was your favorite?
Hello everyone!! I’m so excited to be writing my first real post! Yay!! I already have 7 followers which may not seem like a lot but in only a few days!! Thank you so much for all the support. 🙂
Finn and Chloe have it all figured out. Their school guidance counselor has told everyone that it’s not enough to get good grades or do community service anymore – kids like that are everywhere, and colleges are bored of them. So what do you do? Chloe decides they should get attention another way. She and Finn will stage her own disappearance – and then Finn will be the only who finds and saves her. What college wouldn’t want them after that kind of attention? It seems like a good plan — until things start going very wrong.

This book was pretty good. It was a quick read that I enjoyed. The characters were very well thought out and put into words well. The little town of Colt River was portrayed perfectly. I loved how descriptive they were about the places. It really made it feel like you were there in the basement, field, or the town. Dean was such a sweet character. I loved him SO much.
Chloe and Finn were supposed to be best friends and they just didn’t seem like best friends at all to me. They seemed like the honestly hated each other at times and then for a split second in the dialogue it seemed like they were friends and then back to hating each other. That part was really sad for me because if they’re dialogue and friendship would’ve been better I would’ve loved the book way more. The ending also I hated.. I mean HATED. *spoiler (highlight to see)*Why in the world would you make a whole book about these 2 girls together and then once everything is back to normal have them end up breaking the friendship!!!! Those were the problems for me. Overall I really enjoyed the book and would recommend it for ages 13+ because of some minor swearing nothing super bad though.
